instant gratification

It used to be (back in the school days..) that we photographed an assignment, developed the negatives, proofed, printed in the darkroom (color and B&W), dried, retouched (with inks and pens that were very expensive), matted, and framed a piece in one week before it went into critique on Fridays.

Now I can do all of this in a matter of minutes with the Digital SLRs and printing equipment up to par finally.

It's been SOOOO long since I've printed and framed anything just for the heck of it and I finally got a chance to do so today with some pics that I shot in Maui back in August.

It's so great to be able to do this so quickly!! I'm going to have to do this more often!
