OSPS !!!

How could I have forgotten!?!!

So my buddy David Jay (DJ) totally reminded me today with all his fun footage from OSP-South that I've neglected to post all MY stuff up here!!! Opps!!

So here's the dealio: Alisha decided earlier this fall to come for a visit to ATL to shoot a wedding with me. So we tell a few of our Open Source Photo (OSP) friends that might be close by to see if they want to get togther one day while she's here. Well, the word about Hotlanta being the place to be caught like wildfire and somehow our quiet weekend turned into a mini-convention/ PARTY that lasted FOUR DAYS right here in the ATL with over 20 photographers!



It started Friday with Alisha and Crystal flying in from St.Louis and Arkansas. Alisha is a rock-star and Crystal is sweet-as-puddin-pie and we chilled out on Friday and I scared the dickens out of them driving around in ATL traffic ;)


On Saturday, we did a bridal and fashion shoot at Arian's studio and Jim and Hassel joined us (that's them shooting Alisha there). Keka came and did ALL the hair styling for us too!!


Then the models took pics of US at the end!! How cool are they??



We trecked OTP (outside the perimeter) to grab DJ and then headed out to a yummy dinner at Loca Luna but not before Alisha fixed us up with some back-crackin-alignments!! hehe.

Crystal, DJ, and I were up early the next AM for teachin the kiddies at Buckhead and Nathan and Amber made it down here on time to help 'trick' DJ into thinking the videos were actually people there live!!!

Then we met up with EVVVVERRRRYONE (almost) back at my place before heading out to shoot some bridals in downtown ATL. Joy and Garrett showed up from Florida as did Luke and Frank all the way from New York. We had a production-line going here for a while with Keka on hair and Diane and Pamela styling! Check it out: three models/brides!!


Speaking of models/brides: we needed an extra one and DJ didn't fit into the dress so Crystal was our Supah-star photographer-model of the day!



We headed back to my place for a BIG dinner and then Alisha surprised us all (Luke was in on it too I think) with a HUGE MONSTER LIMO (which I sadly still need to find pics of!!). These folks don't kid around!! How much fun:)

So the NEXT day was the "official" OSP-South day and we pow-wowed at Fado's Irish Pub all afternoon talking strategy and goals for '06 after a yummy lunch. We managed to have another half-dozen local and quasi-local photographers join us for the Monday activities!

That evening, we headed to Two Urban Licks just in time to catch an awesome sunset over the Atlanta skyline. Sadly, that's when OSPers had to start parting ways...


Alisha, Luke, Frank, and I closed the OSPS festivities in style the next day with a treck all the way up to Wild Wings!!

These guys are a hoot!! I can't even explain how awesome the weekend was and we're already planning an OSP-Cruise for 2007!! wohoo!! You all are the BOMB!!! Miss u much!!
